The Asian Leopard Cat

The Clouded Leopard
Aristakatz is a small in-home cattery located in South Western Ontario that specializes in the exotic Bengal. The Bengal breed was generated by genetic crosses between the Asian Leopard Cat and domestic breeds such as Egyptian Mau, Ocicat, Domestic Tabbies as well as Siamese. This has produced a variety of unique patterns and markings on a range of coat colors particularly as the patterns of additional endangered big cats are developed into the breed, such as the Clouded Leopard and Snow Leopard. I am working with both the spottted and rosetted leopard as well as the marbled patterns on a medium to large-boned cat (8-14 lbs). I currently have foundation animals with both brown and/or black marbling patterns as well as the spotted/rosetted patterns overlaid on a range of background colors including the classic Tricolored (gold, brown, black), Silver as well as Snow.

In addition to taking care in my breeding program, all cats/kittens are raised under foot, well-socialized and handled by myself and my 3 children. They are also well socialized with other pets including our husky and make wonderful, loving companions. These beautiful creatures have a unique and exotic wild appearance in a cuddly and purring package. They are loving, playful, interactive, highly intelligent and are hypoallergenic !!!!!

What We Do
We produce a few litters of kittens each year for pet, breeding or show purposes. All breedings are carefully planned between registered queens and studs wtihin this cattery and with suitable outside catteries. My goal is to develop beautiful bengals for the future with strong genetic diversity. Examples of available kittens are accessible under the indicated links.
